What was everyone's favorite part of the book?

I think my two favorite parts were the saddest parts for me. The entire Jonathan chapter and the part when he came back and saw his mother. They made me cry, so I'm obsessed with them. I'm a weirdo.

I loved the whole book! I enjoyed the first chapter when he talks about the lyrics to rent but i'd continue to sing the song and have to remember to get back to the book. I also loved the chapters about his mom even though I bawled.

So far I have read two chapters from Anthony's well written book. Thats all I could take for tonight, I found myself crying allready. And I know even more sad things have yet to happen, but here is what I think so far. *SPOILER WARNING* Nothing too big, but just letting you know!
Okay, I read the first two chapters from Anthony's book and wow is all I can say. I have allready found myself crying more than once. I really cried on the chapter called 'Grandpa' It had me really sad. That's why I called it a night and stopped at 'Wild Bill' I never knew how much I had in common with Anthony Rapp. See, I also lost my Grandpa, but like Anthony, I was never close to him. it wasn't that I didn't like him, it's just we never talked much or got to see each other. And on the day of his funeral, I found myself standing there looking at his body and beside of me my Mom was crying, yet I stood there tearless. I felt heartless, and I still do. Because even if I didn't know him to well, shouldn't I be crying? And also when Anthony's ex tells him about when someone dies how their image of you, also dies with them, that had me in tears as well.
Also, in 'Losing My Religion' I found myself sad when Anthony talked about what he had in common with Mark. I'm just like him, onstage I find myself unbeatable and brave, but when I'm just out somewhere, I find myself in the background.
All I can say is, so far, Im so in love with the book, and I haven't even began to read it yet

Me too, I found it insanely interesting (not to mention that I was in extreem fangril world) when I heard that he had so much in common with Mark, because I have so much in common with mark, so I'm flipping out.

I would have to say Jonathan's chapter because of how he describes their excellent performance.

Oh my gosh, in the Jonathan chapter, when Idina says her line at angel's funeral... oh my god... that was one of best thing's I've ever read... the way he just makes it so simple, an event that needs to be stated. Wow, that was brilliant
